I am pleased to report that this fall 2010, the pop machines in our elementary schools will have been removed. As anticipated, the contractor (Pepsi) could not provide products that met our new nutrition policy. The removal of sugary drinks from our elementary schools has been an important goal for myself and a great many families across our board and am pleased to now report its Mission Success. Thanks for all your comments on this issue over the last while.
